My mother served as a Yeoman First Class in the WAVES in WWII. She was forever proud of her service. There is a small section of the Women Veterans Museum dedicated to my mom and her service. I’m very grateful to Claudette Williams and the museum’s staff and volunteers for displaying my mom‘s memory so beautifully and respectfully.
